Terms of Service

Effective date: March 30, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LexBook ("the Service"), operated by LexBook ("we," "us," or "our") at lexbook.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including law firm subscribers ("Subscribers") and their prospective clients ("Leads") who interact with Subscriber intake pages.

2. Description of Service

LexBook is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides solo and small law firms with:

  • Branded lead capture intake pages
  • Consultation scheduling and calendar management
  • Automated email follow-up sequences sent on behalf of the law firm
  • Lead tracking and performance dashboard
  • Monthly ROI reporting

Important: LexBook is a technology platform only. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed between LexBook and any user of this Service.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service as a Subscriber, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Subscription and Billing

Access to the full Service requires a paid subscription at $99/month. A 14-day free trial is available upon registration — no credit card required during the trial period.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled
  • All payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments. LexBook does not store your card details
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days advance notice to active Subscribers

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Send unsolicited communications or spam
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
  • Use the Service in any way that could interfere with other users' access to the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the Service without our written consent

6. Subscriber Responsibilities

As a Subscriber (law firm), you are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all attorney ethics rules and bar association guidelines applicable to your jurisdiction
  • The content and accuracy of information displayed on your intake page
  • Obtaining any required consent from prospective clients before sending automated communications
  • Complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable email marketing regulations
  • Following up with leads and maintaining the attorney-client relationship once established

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software code, and design — are owned by LexBook and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service (such as your firm name and intake page configuration). By providing this content, you grant LexBook a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LexBook and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify active Subscribers of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
